The Alchemyst

So far in the book I have not been able to find the climax, but now I think I found it.  This climax is were two sides converge together which consists of Nick and the twins, and the other side consists of Bastet and The Morrigans forces.  I have really liked the book, but I wish I could read faster so I would have something to write about that is new and exciting.  Throughout the book the characters have been changing.  The twins have been changing really fast in confidence and bravery.  For example Josh started to not get as nervous when Hekate mansions that you could die if she awakened their powers.  I believe that I am near to the end of the book and I'm starting to think of what book I will read next.

Alchemyst Connections

I'm still reading the same book and it still is very interesting.  At the point were I am wright know I am starting to see a conflict within a conflict.  Nick Flammel, the twins, and Scatach are living in  Hekate's shadow realm.  The main purpose Nick Flammel took the twins is, he wanted Hekate the three faced goddess to unveil the twins potential magical power.  One of the main conflicts in this is that Hekate won't do it because she's afraid that it will be an overload and it could possibly kill them.  This also makes me wonder if hekate has a plane in the near future to hook up with Dr. John Dee and the Morrigan  to be an insider.  Another existing conflict is she mentions that she has to choose sides and she does not like choosing sides.  I think she is just saying that to annoy Nick Flammel.  I'm really enjoying this book.

Choce book theme

I'm still reading the same book, and I still enjoy it.  After reading the book for a good amount of time I have ran across many themes that are shown throughout the novel.  One theme is nervousnes, because as shown in the story Josh and Sarah the twins are starting to feel this way.  For example, when the twin are living with Nick Flammel and Hekate in the shawdow realm they start to feel this way  because the twin's don't want to become wizard's or alchamyst's, for in this magical realm it is not like a video game, when you die you live again but if you die her you really do die.
Another theme that I have seen tacken place esspecially with the antagonist(Dr. John Dee), is jealosy.  This one of the main theme's that the whole story is occuring on.  For example, Dr. John Dee is jealous because Nick has the ripped out pages of the Kodex which are the most important pages.  This is what Dr. John Dee whant's, because without it he will not fullfill his destiny of having the elder back in their rightfull place.

The Alchymist connections

I am still enjoying the book, but the setting almost rareley changes locations.  So far the book has taken me from  San Fransisco to northern california.  I wish that the author would take the story out into some remote desert or into an old city in europe or asia.  I do like how the other has introduced new nad exciting charachters into the novel.  I also belive that the author has alot of imagination, becuase he or she combinds the electronic side of the world and the prehistoric time period like the jurrasic period. The characters also act very well with each other, and each character has their on role in the plot to combine the story togethor.
Nick Flammel in the story shows great effection for the twins, and especially scaty.  I really am enjoying my book.

My Book

I'm still reading the same book, The Alchemyst.  The book has been interesting so far, and it is very fun to read.  Although I do wonder what will come next, because every time I pick up the book it takes me around this diffrent corner and reveals new, and interesting information that gives you alot of detail.  The thing that I peticcurly don't like is that everything has to move so fast and they change subjects real quickly.  I do like how the author puts in alot of Greek Mythology and history to help you understand the era of time they came from.  The book also reminds me of alot of my past as a younger kid and that really makes me enjoy the  book.  The nice thing is, is that it is a very easy book Μ read and it hasn't taken me much time to zip half way through this book.  I really enjoy reaing this book.
